We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Landscape Horticulturalist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and cultivating vibrant landscapes through hands-on horticultural practices. Your expertise will help ensure our clients’ outdoor spaces are healthy, attractive, and thriving. - Responsible for application of pre-emergent weed control during Spring Clean Up
- Responsible for monthly spraying of weed control in beds, tree rings, pavement, and stone areas
- Plant annuals, perennials, bulbs, and flower pots as directed
- Hand weed and deadhead annual and perennial areas as needed
- Water trees, shrubs, and flowers as directed
- Responsible for trash and branches on properties, and debris (cigarette butts, leaves, etc) in corners of parking spots
- Assist with landscape installations as needed
- Assist with street sweeping and trash pick up when directed
- Conduct daily safety inspection of tools and equipment
- Complete daily paperwork tracking job time and material
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
- Comply with all company policies and regulations
- Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations
- Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner
- Proven experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance with a strong understanding of plant care principles.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and pest management.
- Experience working with landscaping or farming equipment is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately. Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
