EMH&T is looking for a Civil Engineer, EI to join our Water Resource team located in Columbus, OH.
Our EIs work under the guidance of experienced Engineers and Project Managers who provide mentorship and support throughout your career development. Additionally, EMH&T offers a dedicated support team to train you on our drafting and design standards, ensuring you are well-prepared for success in this role.

Responsibilities
- Perform field assessments and complete the associated technical documentation.
- Assist with and/or lead the development of technical proposals.
- Assist with and/or lead client meetings, including development of agendas and managing follow-up work assignments.
- Support the team by performing quality control reviews.

- Ability to utilize AutoCAD and GIS in support of site design and to augment stormwater and floodplain management studies, as well as the ability to assist in technical writing to prepare a variety of engineering documents and reports, preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Experience in the field of water resources engineering with a consulting firm or regulating agency, preferred.
- Exposure to modeling software applications such as HydroCAD and HEC-RAS.
