What You’ll Do
As a Sales Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll be on the front lines of our growth — engaging potential customers, building relationships, and helping them understand how Emgage can simplify compliance and security.
Your day will include:
- Making 70 outbound calls per day and reaching out via LinkedIn and email to start real conversations.
- Qualifying prospects to ensure they’re a strong fit for our solutions.
- Booking 5 qualified meetings per week and helping ensure those meetings happen.
- Following up with warm leads and nurturing interest until they’re ready to meet with an Account Executive.
- Keeping our HubSpot CRM spotless — every call, email, and follow-up logged and organized.
- Collaborating closely with the Account Executive team to hand off qualified opportunities smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role.
- Experience in SaaS or IT sales is a plus (but not required).
- A Bachelor’s degree and a hunger to grow in tech sales.
- Excellent communication skills — phone, email, and LinkedIn presence.
- A strong work ethic, detail-oriented mindset, and follow-through that impresses.
- Coachable, curious, and resilient — you take feedback well and love improving every day.

Compensation & Growth
- Base salary: $50,000
- Commission: Up to $25,000 OTE
- Career Path: Grow into a BDR Manager or Account Executive role as you master the craft.
