What You’ll Do
As an Account Executive, you’ll play a pivotal role in Emgage’s growth by managing the full sales cycle and turning qualified leads into satisfied customers. You’ll work closely with our Business Development Representatives (BDRs), marketing, and compliance experts to deliver meaningful value to clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Running discovery calls and tailoring demos to each client’s specific needs.
- Presenting Emgage’s cybersecurity and compliance solutions with confidence and clarity.
- Managing the complete sales process from first meeting to close.
- Collaborating with BDRs to ensure seamless lead handoffs and consistent pipeline momentum.
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records in HubSpot CRM.
- Negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts to close deals efficiently.
- Partnering with compliance and customer success teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for every new client.
Sales Metrics
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Maintain at least 3× pipeline coverage relative to quota.
- Conduct 10–15 discovery and demo calls per week.
- Achieve 25–30% conversion rate from demo to closed-won deals.
- Maintain CRM accuracy and 100% forecast reliability.
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of experience in SaaS, cybersecurity, compliance, or IT sales.
- Proven ability to run discovery and demo meetings that build trust and close deals.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong communication, storytelling, and consultative selling skills.
- Motivated by growth, metrics, and delivering real client impact.
- Detail-oriented, accountable, and adaptable in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Coachable and driven to continually refine your sales craft.
Tools & Platforms: HubSpot CRM, Office365, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoom, and proposal software.

Compensation & Growth
- Base Salary: $70,000
- Commission: $40,000 (based on deals closed and collected)
