Safety Coordinator Intern

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

· Project Support: Collaborate with project teams to assist in the planning, execution, and management of Health & Safety on our construction projects.

· Field Experience: Spend time on construction sites to observe and participate in construction activities, gaining practical knowledge.

· Documentation: Assist in project documentation, including reports, plans, budgets, and schedules.

· Technical Learning: Acquire a deeper understanding of construction methods, materials, equipment, and safety procedures.

· Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and field staff to ensure project goals are met.

· Problem Solving: Participate in troubleshooting and finding solutions to construction-related challenges.

Qualifications:

· Enrolled in a relevant degree program or Technical School (Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, etc.).

· Strong academic performance

· A passion for the construction industry.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

· Eagerness to learn

· A proactive attitude.

· Punctuality and reliability are essential.

· Basic understanding of construction principles and practices is a plus but not mandatory.

· Must be legally eligible to work in United States

· Physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

Work Schedule:

· Internships typically last one to six months
