Compact Construction Equipment Mechanic / Technician
Growing BOBCAT compact construction equipment & HUSQVARNA Concrete Products dealership has a career opportunity for experienced Road & Shop Technicians in Baton Rouge, LA.
Seeking detail oriented, self-starters that are organized and personable with a strong work ethic, good communication skills, and a passion for problem solving and customer service to join our growing team!
Job Requirements:
- Candidates should be experienced working on construction equipment with emphasis on diesel engines, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Must be able to diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and diesel engine systems
- Able to read electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Perform general maintenance on a variety of machines
- Use computer for data input & engine analyzer for diagnostics
- Must have own tools. Specialty tools will be provided
- Must have valid Driver's License with insurable driving record and pass pre-employment physical, drug and background screening
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years experience working on construction equipment
- History of working with different types of equipment, specifically excavators, loaders, telehandlers, utility vehicles
