QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from a recognized, accredited college or university;
- Valid Texas Certification for EC-6 or EC-4 (Standard, Provisional or One-Year certificates only; ACP candidates on a probationary certificate do not qualify);
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful experience as an elementary classroom teacher preferred;
- Strong experience with at-risk / small group reading intervention and instruction;
- Excellent classroom management.
- This position does not qualify for a lateral teacher transfer within CFISD during the school year.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Probationary/Term Contract: 187 days
