Job Description

This role reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and offers the chance to work on a high-impact team focused on manufacturing support, technical problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

At RSP, we build custom sensors for the harshest environments from deep in the ocean to outer space. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Apply technical expertise in the development of products and/or processes.
  • Develop manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Recommend design changes to reduce costs, improve quality and increase product performance.
  • Solve production problems.
  • Participate in plant layout activities.
  • Collaborate with other functional groups, customers or vendors on technical and/or administrative matters.
  • Develop and coordinate manpower, facility and equipment requirements for assigned projects.
  • Administer technical procedures including process and work procedures.
  • Implements industrial engineering system.
  • Participates and may lead lean and six sigma improvement teams.

You convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science
  • Three to five years of applicable experience
  • Only U.S. Persons (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined by 22 CFR
  • 120) may be considered

  • ABET-accredited degree from an engineering school

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $105,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
