What You’ll Do
As a Hospital Patient Care Technician, you will assist the clinical care team with important direct patient care duties, including:
- Supporting nurses with basic patient care needs and comfort measures
- Taking and documenting vital signs accurately
- Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) as directed by nursing staff
- Monitoring patients and communicating observations to Registered Nurses
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment
- Providing compassionate customer service to patients and families
- Documenting patient information using electronic medical record systems
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program strongly preferred
- Minimum one year of acute care experience or medical surgical clinical experience preferred
- BLS Certification – Healthcare Provider required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification strongly preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Basic computer and electronic documentation skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
