Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily patient care needs, including hygiene, mobility, and comfort measures
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
- Support nurses with clinical tasks within scope of practice
- Provide age-appropriate care to both pediatric and adult patients
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members
- Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with all regulatory standards
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- At least 1 year of acute care or medical-surgical clinical experience preferred
- Experience with pediatric and/or adult patient populations preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred
- Strong clinical skills, including accurate vital sign measurement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care across all age groups
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation
