Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, including obtaining vital signs and medical histories
- Assist Physicians with clinical procedures and treatments
- Support daily office operations, including documentation and patient flow coordination
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR)
- Provide a welcoming, professional experience for patients and families
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a Medical Assistant training program preferred
- 2–4 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient or office setting preferred
- State Medical Assistant Certification preferred but not required
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Moderate keyboarding and data entry skills
- Experience with electronic medical records systems preferred (e.g., GE Centricity, Meditech)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team-oriented environment
