What You’ll Do
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas, and staff spaces according to Environmental Services (EVS) standards
- Follow established infection control and safety guidelines
- Restock supplies and maintain organized work areas
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests and support patient flow
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet daily priorities
- Interact respectfully with patients, visitors, and staff to support a positive environment
Required Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cleaning, housekeeping, or environmental services experience (healthcare setting is a plus)
- None required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
- Effective communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
