Compliance Coordinator

Burlington County, NJ | $29.00–$34.00 per hour, based on experience | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM | 100% On-Site

Our client, a mission-driven organization in Burlington County that empowers adults with disabilities to reach their maximum potential, is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to join their team.

About the Role

The Compliance Coordinator provides administrative, operational, and project support to the Chief Compliance Officer and the Corporate Compliance Program. This individual will help maintain an organized, timely, and audit-ready compliance program by coordinating documentation, policies, training, committee activities, audits, investigations, corrective actions, regulatory updates, and reporting.

What You'll Do

  • Provide administrative and project support to the Chief Compliance Officer.
  • Maintain compliance files, records, logs, calendars, tracking systems, and confidential documentation.
  • Track projects, assignments, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate and track policy reviews, revisions, approvals, implementation, and employee acknowledgements.
  • Support compliance training by coordinating assignments, tracking completion, maintaining records, and following up on outstanding requirements.
  • Coordinate compliance and quality improvement committee meetings, including agendas, materials, minutes, and action items.
  • Maintain confidential investigation and complaint records and assist with case tracking and documentation.
  • Support the Compliance Hotline and ensure reports are appropriately documented and escalated.
  • Coordinate audit schedules, document requests, supporting records, and corrective action tracking.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, licensing reviews, accreditation surveys, and regulatory inspections.
  • Monitor assigned regulatory communications and maintain records of relevant updates.
  • Track required screenings, credential verifications, background checks, licenses, and other compliance requirements.
  • Maintain compliance-related contracts, disclosure records, reports, dashboards, and other program data.
  • Assist with CARF accreditation, annual Compliance Program assessments, and other assigned compliance initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support related to Safety and UIR activities, as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience

  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Human Services, Compliance, Human Resources, Legal Studies, or a related field required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2–3 years of experience in administrative, compliance, quality, healthcare, human services, regulatory, legal, audit, or project coordination.
  • Experience in a regulated healthcare, human services, nonprofit, government contractor, or disability services environment is preferred.
  • Experience with policy tracking, learning management systems, audits, investigations, or regulatory documentation is a plus.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and confidential information.
  • Strong recordkeeping, data tracking, and reporting skills.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to recognize when issues require escalation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience with systems such as Relias, PolicyPro, SharePoint, or similar platforms is preferred.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Pay: $29.00–$34.00 per hour, based on experience
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
  • Work Environment: 100% on-site
  • Location: Burlington County, NJ
  • Benefits: Health Insurance, Vacation and PTO available after completion of required hours worked.
