- Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons in all areas of the kindergarten curriculum
- Foster a classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress and behavior
- Collaborate with fellow faculty and staff to ensure consistency and continuity in learning
- Maintain accurate student records, including assessments and report cards
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education
- NJ CE or CEAS
- Previous experience teaching in a kindergarten classroom or working with young children preferred
- Strong knowledge of child development and best practices for early education
