About Us

Emeritus Home Care is a growing home care agency dedicated to helping seniors and individuals remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. We are looking for a professional, compassionate, and highly adaptable Administrative Assistant & Social Media Coordinator to join our team.


This position will begin as part-time, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance, reliability, initiative, and overall contribution to the organization.



Position Overview

This is a unique role that combines administrative support, client relations, and social media marketing. You will often be the first impression of our agency, helping clients and families feel welcomed and supported while also helping showcase the meaningful work we do throughout the community.

The ideal candidate is professional, organized, creative, personable, and comfortable balancing both office responsibilities and community engagement.



Responsibilities


Administrative & Client Relations

  • Answer and direct incoming calls professionally
  • Greet clients, families, and
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients and families
  • Conduct client satisfaction and quality assurance calls
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating services
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation
  • Support client onboarding and intake processes
  • Communicate with caregivers, clients, families, and case managers
  • Assist with daily office operations and administrative projects


Social Media & Marketing

  • Help manage the company's Facebook and Instagram accounts
  • Create graphics, stories, reels, and social media posts
  • Develop engaging content that reflects our mission and culture
  • Visit client homes, community events, and company activities to capture photos and videos
  • Assist with creating flyers, marketing materials, and promotional content
  • Help increase community awareness and engagement through creative marketing initiatives

Community Engagement & Events

  • Represent Emeritus Home Care at community events
  • Help coordinate and host Bingo Nights, game days, educational events, and other senior activities
  • Visit senior centers, rehabilitation facilities, community organizations, and local events to build relationships
  • Assist with event planning, setup, promotion, and execution
  • Develop creative ideas for community outreach and senior engagement
  • Help strengthen partnerships within the healthcare and senior care community

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in administrative support, healthcare, hospitality, customer service, marketing, or social media management
  • Experience with Facebook, Instagram, Canva, and content creation
  • Comfortable taking photos and videos using a smartphone or camera
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
