Service Now Integration Lead

Emerging Tech is seeking a ServiceNow Integration Lead to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program. The ServiceNow Integration Lead will serve as the overall architect and technical lead for all ServiceNow (SNOW) initiatives, providing strategic direction and hands-on leadership during implementation and integration efforts across multiple sites. This role ensures ServiceNow solutions align with organizational goals, Knowledge Management (KM) objectives, and enterprise standards, supporting a smooth deployment and long-term adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the ServiceNow Integration Lead and primary technical architect for all ServiceNow implementation and enhancement activities
• Provide expert guidance on ServiceNow platform capabilities, integrations, and best practices to support VA EHRM and ODCIO Knowledge Management initiatives
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, customers, and technical development teams to ensure requirements are accurately translated into scalable solutions
• Architect, design, and document ServiceNow solutions leveraging prior deployment experience, models, presentations, and technical documentation
• Identify opportunities to leverage existing ServiceNow modules, workflows, and native functionality to meet program needs
• Lead the full ServiceNow development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training, documentation, and deployment
• Develop and manage project plans for new ServiceNow work efforts and ensure delivery against established scope, schedule, and performance standards
• Provide team leadership by managing ServiceNow resources, assigning tasks, prioritizing workloads, and supporting overall team performance
• Facilitate data gathering and develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for leadership; lead responses to executive and ad hoc data requests
• Assist with the development and enforcement of data governance, information control standards, and handling processes
• Guide user experience (UX) and platform design best practices to improve usability and adoption
• Mature Knowledge Management–related training, adoption, and user feedback initiatives within the ServiceNow platform
• Coordinate across stakeholders with competing priorities to drive alignment, standards, and timely decision-making

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5 years of professional experience supporting ServiceNow implementations, integrations, or enterprise IT platforms
• Demonstrated ability to independently design and deliver new ServiceNow solutions or major enhancements in complex enterprise environments
• Acts as a senior technical expert addressing systems integration, platform compatibility, and enterprise workflows
• Proven experience owning projects through completion, including feasibility analysis and recommendations to leadership
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare IT, Engineering, or a related technical field; additional relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting the VA or other federal healthcare environments
• Experience integrating or supporting ServiceNow within Electronic Health Record (EHR) or healthcare-related programs
• ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist)
