The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in forecasting demand, managing inventory levels, and ensuring that the supply chain operates efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and sales analysis to optimize product availability while minimizing excess stock.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data and market trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and operations to align on demand planning strategies
- Analyze sales data and inventory metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Monitor inventory control processes to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to organize and manipulate data using formulas, pivot tables, etc.
- 3–5 years of experience in wholesale products with key U.S. retailers
- Proven experience in demand planning or a related field within supply chain management
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices
- Familiarity with sales analysis techniques to inform forecasting decisions
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams
- Highly proficient in Excel, SQL, Python, and Power BI
