Sourcing Associate:

Overview

The Sourcing Associate will work closely with the Sourcing & Production Manager on order placement and collaborate with the Sales and overseas management teams to track and update all information regarding order allocations.

Reports To: Sourcing Manager / Sr. Sourcing Manager / Director of Sourcing and Production

Direct Reports: None

Key Accountabilities

• Assist the Sourcing Manager and/or Director with daily emails and sourcing inquiries.
• Partner with Design and Design Operations on tech packs, design changes, and production packages.
• Work closely with the Demand Planning team to ensure all buys are entered into the buy plan and updated accurately and on time each season.
• Send and follow up with overseas teams on PO adjustments, stock orders, special orders, placements, and status updates (e.g., moving labels, reorders, daily inquiries).
• Communicate with the Sales team and overseas offices regarding the status of advertising samples.
• Gather and organize information to support analysis and resolution of quality issues.
• Create price charts by brand for each seasonal buy and for late additions as needed.
• Develop templates for seasonal pricing recaps by brand.
• Review weekly and prepare monthly approval status reports.
• Monitor D/F and D/A entries.
• Support special projects as assigned.
  
  

Required Skills, Abilities & Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in International Trade or Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
• 1 years of experience as a Sourcing Coordinator or Sourcing Associate.
• Foreign language proficiency is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary Range

$55,000 – $75,000 per year
