Senior Technical Designer -Production

THE ROLE

Our client is hiring a Senior Technical Designer to own the technical execution for all Women's styles in production — partnering directly with Design and Merchandising to make sure every garment fits, functions, and reflects our brand.

You're equal parts detail-obsessed and collaborative. You thrive in an environment where you wear multiple hats, move quickly, and take real ownership of the product.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain tech packs — measurements, construction, grading — in Excel and our PLM system
• Lead fit sessions on live model and communicate corrections to overseas vendors with clear written direction and imagery
• Manage styles independently from dev pass-off through PP approval and production
• Work with PD to track samples; flag delays and keep cross-functional teams informed
• Partner with Design to ensure fit intent and construction are aligned
• Identify quality, construction, or costing risks early and provide solutions
• Mentor and support junior TD/interns on the team
  
  

What You Bring

• 7 years of technical design experience, with a strong focus in Women's apparel
• Extensive knowledge of garment construction, fit, grading, and pattern-making
• Experience moving styles through the full production cycle, start to finish
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Excel, and PLM tools (Vault knowledge a plus)
• Clear, confident communicator — with vendors, with design, and across the business
• Highly organized, calm under pressure, and able to manage a high volume of styles across seasons
