Product Development Specialist (Apparel) - Confidential Lifestyle & Branded Apparel Company

We’re looking for a Product Development Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of premium apparel products—from design handoff through production. You’ll work closely with design, sales, operations, and global factories to ensure every garment meets quality, fit, and construction standards across seasonal collections and custom programs.

What You’ll Do

• Manage product development across multiple seasonal and custom collections.
• Act as the technical liaison between internal teams and overseas factories.
• Build complete tech packs with detailed construction, measurements, trims, and print placements.
• Create and refine flat sketches in Adobe Illustrator.
• Ensure artwork and techniques are manufacturable before production.
• Review lab dips, strike-offs, and samples for fit, measurements, colors, construction, branding, and packaging accuracy.
• Maintain all style information, comments, approvals, and updates in the PLM system.
• Support Sales, Design, and Operations with accurate product details.
• Make minor to intermediate graphic adjustments to artwork when needed. What You Bring
• Degree in Fashion Design/Product Development or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of apparel product development experience (B2B experience a plus).
• Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, especially cut-and-sew knits.
• Exceptional attention to detail—able to catch discrepancies early.
• Comfortable with problem-solving, research, and navigating ambiguity.
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Excel, Google Suite, and PLM (Gerber Yunique a plus).
• Graphic design skills are beneficial.

Salary Range: $55K-$80k/yr. based on experience
