Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager / Field Operations Lead to oversee and manage biohazard remediation projects from initial response through final clearance. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage crews, communicate with clients and stakeholders, and ensure all work is completed safely, compliantly, and to the highest industry standards.
*This is not a desk-only role—you will be expected to lead from the front.*
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage field crews on trauma, biohazard, and environmental remediation projects
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, adjusters, and agencies
• Assess job sites and develop scopes of work aligned with IICRC S540 and OSHA standards
• Ensure strict compliance with OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens (29 CFR 1910.1030) and safety protocols
• Oversee PPE usage, containment setup, and decontamination procedures
• Manage project timelines, logistics, and documentation
• Prepare detailed job reports, photos, and notes for internal and client use
• Assist with estimating using Xactimate (or willingness to learn)
• Coordinate regulated medical waste handling and documentation
• Maintain equipment readiness and vehicle organization
• Support training and mentorship of technicians
Preferred:
• IICRC certifications (especially AMRT, FSRT, or TCST)
• Experience with trauma/crime scene cleanup
• OSHA 30 or HAZWOPER training
• Experience with Xactimate or estimating software
• Experience working with government or insurance-driven projects
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in PPE, including respirators or PAPRs
• Ability to work in high-stress and sensitive environments
