Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited PTA School
- State of North Carolina physical therapist assistant license
- Current CPR certification
- Comfortable using email, internet applications, and practice management software
- Strong customer orientation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Identify and help patients meet their goals
- Help improve patients’ motion and mobility
- Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
- Promote patients’ healthy lifestyle through education and by improving strength, flexibility, balance and coordination
- Collaborate with EmergeOrtho physicians, physician assistants, occupational therapists and other providers
- Document patient care
- Continue to learn and grow as a physical therapist assistant
