LICENSED PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT-OUTPATIENT ORTHOPEDICS

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA School
• State of North Carolina physical therapist assistant license
• Current CPR certification
• Comfortable using email, internet applications, and practice management software
• Strong customer orientation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatment
• Identify and help patients meet their goals
• Help improve patients’ motion and mobility
• Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
• Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients’ specific needs
• Promote patients’ healthy lifestyle through education and by improving strength, flexibility, balance and coordination
• Collaborate with EmergeOrtho physicians, physician assistants, occupational therapists and other providers
• Document patient care
• Continue to learn and grow as a physical therapist assistant
• Focus on and enjoy being the best physical therapist assistant you can be
