Our Manufacturing client based in North West Houston, is looking to add a Senior Network Engineer to their team! This is a Contract to Hire opportunity. The Ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience as a network engineer, with heavy experience working with Cisco Routers and Switches, and a strong working knowledge of Azure Cloud Networking
Responsibilities
- Monitor network performance
- Administer devices and services; routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VP, and Wi-Fi.
- Make sure the networks are protected from malware and viruses
- Identify areas that might be under threat
- Identify areas where security can be improved
- Install and maintain firewalls
Qualifications
- 7 years of hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics
- Bachelor's Degree in computer systems engineering, network security management, information technology, or computer science.
- Strong Knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls / Prisma access and SD WAN
- Knowledge of Azure Cloud Networking
