Injection Molding Process Technician

We are seeking an individual who is very detail-oriented, reliable, and have a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will have experience in the injection molding industry and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on quality and teamwork.

Responsibilities for molding technician

· Set up, heat up, start up, operate, troubleshoot, and adjust process settings on the injection molding equipment per standard operating procedures resulting in high quality parts.

· Operate hoists and as required used in the area

· Assist department technical personnel with problem solving and experimental activities.

· Assist basic maintenance with troubleshooting and equipment repair as directed.

· Provide analysis, spreadsheets, charts, and graphs related to injection molding processes.

· Active in process improvement teams

· Maintain good work ethic and confidentiality.

· Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards

· Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

· Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and achieve production goals

· Perform basic maintenance tasks on machines and equipment

Qualifications for molding technician

· Demonstrated problem solving and strong troubleshooting skills

· Injection molding troubleshooting skills needed

· Programming/troubleshooting robotic/automated part take out systems or servo motors desirable

· Provide required communications to all levels in our focus factory

· Ideally (3) years of Injection Molding Operator experience

· Knowledge of warehouse operations and materials handling techniques

· Familiarity with micrometers and other precision measuring tools

· Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and practices

· Ability to read and interpret work instructions and blueprints

· Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions

Pay based on experience: $50K - $60K/yr.

• Injection Molding Technician: 3 years (Preferred)
• Manufacturing: 4 years (Preferred)
• Injection Molding Machine Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
