Emergency Roadside Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Roadside Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential roadside assistance to drivers in need, ensuring their safety and helping them get back on the road as quickly as possible. You will utilize your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs in various situations. 1099 must have own tools and use own vehicle to get to jobs at customers location. Must have reliable transportation, a jack, lock out set, jump box, fuel can for diesel and gasoline, lug nut sockets and impact driver.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency calls for roadside assistance, including flat tires, dead batteries, and lockouts.
• Provide exceptional customer service while assisting stranded motorists, ensuring a positive experience during stressful situations.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and equipment used during each call.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed while working on or around vehicles.
• Keep your service vehicle stocked with necessary tools and equipment for efficient roadside assistance.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently under pressure.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers in distressing situations.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Previous experience in a similar role or automotive service environment is a plus but not mandatory.
