About Emergency Responders Health Center (ERHC):

Founded in Boise, Idaho in 2004, Emergency Responders Health Center (ERHC) provides comprehensive healthcare for first responders and their families. Serving nearly 40 fire, law enforcement and EMS agencies and more than 10,000 patients, ERHC brings together primary care, preventive wellness, occupational medicine, physical therapy, mental health and work-related injury care. ERHC North opened in Spokane in 2025 at the invitation of local agencies, extending our physician-led model to northeastern Washington and northern Idaho. Our growing organization also serves southwestern Idaho, including Nampa.                

We seek a board-certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to provide broad-spectrum outpatient care, including continuity care, duty-specific Annual Wellness Exams, cardiac and cancer screening, and occupational and sports medicine. For an experienced physician interested in leadership, there is also an opportunity to serve as Medical Director or Assistant Medical Director at ERHC North, helping guide clinical quality, provider collaboration, mentorship and future growth.

Full-Time Schedule:

• Weekdays (4 days per week)
• Rotating Saturday clinic (partial day; frequency dependent upon clinical staffing levels)

Eligibility Requirements:

MD or DO degree  

• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine    
• Additional certification in Sports Medicine or Occupational Medicine welcomed (not required)  

Desired/Competitive Qualifications:

• Interest in developing expertise in exercise physiology, cardiac stress testing, and MSK ultrasound 
• Commitment to ERHC’s comprehensive, patient-centered “depth-of-care” philosophy     
• Interest in first-responder occupational health, workplace risks and culture; leadership experience or interest in clinical oversight, physician collaboration and mentorship is a plus, not a requirement  

Work Location/Travel:

• Health Center located in Rock Pointe Corporate Center III, Spokane, WA
• Physician-designed health center facilities housing exam rooms, digital X-ray imaging, cardiac stress test suites, laboratory, procedure room, new Samsung V8 ultrasound device, physical therapy studio, and on campus Wellness Clinic (mental health therapists).
• Mental Health Therapy, dietitian/RDN (nutrition consultations), and massage therapy fully integrated into primary care model

Compensation: Competitive base salary with productivity/performance bonus. Leadership responsibilities and additional compensation may be discussed with qualified candidates.
