We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Biomedical Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical equipment used in healthcare settings. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration on a variety of medical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct repairs on malfunctioning equipment, utilizing hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand equipment needs and provide field service support.
- Work closely with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) for technical support and guidance on repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all maintenance activities.
- Provide training and support to staff on proper use and care of medical devices.
Skills
- Proficient in calibrating medical equipment and performing equipment repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools.
- Familiarity with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and its maintenance requirements.
- Experience working with Computer Hardware relevant to biomedical devices.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively in a field service environment.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations pertaining to medical equipment safety.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
