We are seeking an energetic and experienced Lead Plumber to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will oversee plumbing projects, lead a team of skilled plumbers, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety on every job site. Duties
- Lead and supervise plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance projects across commercial and residential sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise plumbing work
- Coordinate with construction teams to ensure plumbing systems are integrated seamlessly into building projects
- Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks using hand tools and power tools with precision and safety
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications
- Manage heavy lifting tasks and perform remodeling or maintenance work as needed on various plumbing systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to HVAC systems, piping, and related mechanical components
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction plumbing, including pipe threading, welding, and schematic reading
- Strong knowledge of construction site procedures, safety protocols, and building codes
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding apparatus
- Experience in field service work, remodeling projects, or handyman roles is a plus
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or confined spaces as required
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations; carpentry skills are advantageous
