Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pest Control professional who combines a strong sales ability with hands-on technical expertise in a variety of areas related to pest control. This individual will support company growth by identifying sales opportunities while delivering exceptional service in both residential and commercial settings.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly motivated, and committed to ensuring complete customer satisfaction through effective pest solutions and professional communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow a route that takes you to various job sites, ensuring timely arrival and adherence to safety protocols
- Inspect interior and exterior areas of properties for signs of pest, termite and/or rodent activity
- Develop customized pest management treatment plans based on each client’s specific needs
- Clearly explain treatment options, safety precautions, and preventative measures to clients
- Apply pest control treatments safely and effectively
- Educate customers on pest prevention strategies and ongoing maintenance
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices
- Maintains detailed records and communication with the office
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- Proven Pest Control sales and technician experience required
- Valid Drivers license with a clean driving record is required
- Physical ability to climb ladders, lift heavy objects , navigate and provide services inside and outside structures including in attics and crawl spaces, navigate attics and access roofs
- Excellent communication skills (speaking and written for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to calculate of math skills to calculate mixing products and measuring for services such as linear feet, square feet, cubic feet
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
