Company Description
EMS LLC is a small stable independent emergency medicine physician group that is contracted to staff the emergency department at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center in Oregon City, OR. The LLC consists of physician members/partners all board certified in emergency medicine and a few non-partner part-time and partner-track employee physicians. The partnership track is 2 years for full time employees. The emergency department is a 20 bed ER with a number of hallway beds also available for as needed use during high volume times. The Hospital is a designated Level-III Trauma Center. There is a dedicated hospitalist service for medical admissions and excellent general surgery coverage. Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center is one of 5 Providence Hospitals in the Portland Metro Area which allows for easy access to sub-specialty care and transfers for a higher level of care if needed. We treat both pediatric and adults from the surrounding community and the annual ED census is over 30,000 patients and growing. A new emergency department is planned in the next two years.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Emergency Medicine Physician located in Oregon City, OR. The Physician will be responsible for providing urgent care, emergency services, critical care medicine, and emergency medicine services on a daily basis.
Qualifications
- MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited emergency medicine residency program
- Board certification and/or board eligibility in Emergency Medicine
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations efficiently
- Proficiency in all emergency procedures
- ACLS certification
- Current license to practice medicine in Oregon
- Current DEA license

Department Information
- Single/Double physician coverage. No advanced practice provider coverage
- Shifts: Mix of 8 and 9 hour shifts. Some shifts with an hour overlap
- 6a-2p, 10a-6p, 1p-10p, 5p-1a, 9p-6a. Will likely add additional swing shift for total of 6 shifts/day
- Weekend shift differential
- Night shift differential
