Schedule: Days, 24 hours per week
Department: Emergency Department, Hospital: Henry Ford Providence Southfield Hospital, Location: Southfield, MI
GENERAL SUMMARY:
- Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates educational activities planning for an assigned service or population.
- Collaborates with nurse managers and staff to assess learning needs and competencies.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates educational plans/programs and utilizes methods, measurements and
tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals. - Identifies and/or develops teaching tools and instructional materials.
- Keeps records of educational activities and prepares reports.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of
hire. - Preferred 4 years of ER experience
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE REQUIRED:
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job
transfer date.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:
- Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
