ACCESS REP II – EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
HOURS:
POSITION SUMMARY:
Access Rep II’s handle patient registration in the emergency room. They accurately identify and register Emergency Department patients, adhering to EMTALA regulations. Captures complete and accurate patient information, correctly filing insurance and assigning guarantors to accounts. Utilizes the bedside registration process to facilitate a patient’s timely access to care.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
Required length of experience:
One (1) year of healthcare registration experience is preferred.
