RN Assistant Clinical Manager - Emergency Department

- Schedule: Rotating shifts 6 am - 6 pm and 6 pm - 6 am focus on nights (PRN)

GENERAL SUMMARY
- Under the supervision of the Director/Nurse Manager, the Assistant Clinical Manager assumes both a clinical and management role.
- This position is responsible to plan, organize, and direct the provision of patient care services within the department.
- The Assistant Clinical Manager is to assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of budgets, quality improvement programs, staffing levels, goals, objectives, regulatory compliance, and policies within the department.
- The Assistant Clinical Manager is to assist in the evaluation and discipline of personnel.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Two years RN experience.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES:
- Current RN license in the State of Michigan.
- BCLS/ACLS per unit's standard.
- Certifications appropriate for specific unit.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- 3 years of emergency department experience preferred.
- 1 year of leadership or like experience.
