Medical Biller – Orthopedic Practice

Are you detail-oriented, self-motivated, and experienced in medical billing? We’re looking for a skilled Medical Biller to join our team and support a large, well-established orthopedic practice.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with payer guidelines, and taking ownership of the claims review and appeals process.

What You’ll Do

• Perform charge and coding reviews on denied claims
• Research and resolve claim denials
• Correspond directly with insurance payers
• Navigate payer portals and submit timely, accurate appeals
• Maintain organized documentation and tracking files
• Adapt to varying payer requirements and industry standards

Training & Support

EBS provides paid training on payer portals and the proper filing of appeals to ensure you feel confident and equipped in your role.

What We’re Looking For

• Must have at least 2 Plus yrs Experience in medical billing (orthopedic experience a plus)
• Strong understanding of charge entry, coding review, and denial management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to create, manage, and navigate files using file explorer
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Self-motivated with the ability to independently research payer guidelines and industry standards
• Strong written communication skills for payer correspondence
• Ability to adapt to changing payer rules and requirements
