This is a full-time, on-site role for a Registered Veterinary Technician located in Topeka, KS. The Registered Veterinary Technician will play a key role in providing high-quality care to animals, assisting veterinarians with medical and surgical procedures, and educating clients on pet care and wellness. Additionally, responsibilities will include tasks related to animal care, anesthesiology, and maintaining the overall health and safety of animals in the clinic.
- Proficiency in Animal Care and Pet Care to ensure the well-being, safety, and handling of animals
- Expertise in Veterinary Technology and Anesthesiology to support medical and surgical services
- Strong skills in Client Education to effectively communicate with pet owners about care and treatment plans
- Detail-oriented with effective organizational skills
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative team, with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Completion of an Accredited Veterinary Technician program and Certification as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility is preferred
