Ever dreamed of standing by at one of the largest music festivals in the world or working on a movie set? How about working a photo shoot on the beach or working a movie premiere? We’re the ones standing at the front of house at concerts looking to help those in need. E1R/Evolve EMS is celebrating it's 20th year in business providing high quality, on-site emergency services to special events, and we’re currently looking for new EMT family members to add to our amazing team. We’re a staff comprised of EMTs, Paramedics (BLS/non transport work only), RNs and Physicians who not only provide high quality medical services but outstanding customer service to special events across California.
As we continue to grow, we are now accepting resumes from experienced EMTs for per-diem/on-call/casual work. This is a great job for someone looking for supplemental income, a job to work around your school schedule or a job to make you remember why you love medicine again.
Qualifications for EMTs
- Current State of California EMT or Paramedic Certification - Note that all paramedics that work here function BLS Only as we are not an ambulance company.
- Current CPR (AHA)
- AHA Bloodborne Pathogens Certification (Must have completed prior to start date)
- State of California Sexual Harassment Course (Must have completed prior to start date)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Minimum six months of full-time, hands-on patient care experience - Will consider new grads with relevant supportive educational and/or previous employment
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be fully vaccinated without exception against COVID-19 as most of our venues are requiring this for all staff so without it you would be able to get little to no work here. There is no exception to this policy.
- Must have availability to work a minimum of two weekend days (Friday-Sunday) Please note that we require a minimum of 3-4 shifts worked every month to remain on the roster.
- Pay rate is $17-20/Hr. and is based on years of experience. Opportunities for premium pay are available for picking up last minute shifts and COVID Compliance work. (IE. 0-6months experience = $17/Hr., 3 years of experience, $20/Hr start rate)
- Must be a good person.
