We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented professional to oversee key aspects of our event and marketing initiatives in the consumer space. This role includes maintaining website content and event apps, conducting surveys for event analytics and stats, managing media relations and PR efforts, and ensuring all advertising, informational, and sales materials are impactful and on-brand.
This position is based out of our San Juan Capistrano, CA or Alpharetta, GA office location.

Compensation & Benefits
Target Compensation: $65,000-75,000

Responsibilities
Sales Marketing
- Own the end-to-end development of client sales decks and proposals for digital, branded content, and live event sponsorships—taking full responsibility for data-driven strategy, and creative alignment to deliver compelling, customized solutions
- Manage marketing program working directly with editorial team to drive affiliate revenue
- Supports sales staff by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, and new product information
- Support the sales team with project management as needed
- Identify and prioritize grassroots marketing opportunities by researching and curating partner organizations, then lead proactive outreach and negotiations to establish mutually beneficial partnerships
- Monitor and analyze consumer engagement metrics including ticket sales pacing to optimize marketing strategies and improve ROI
- Identify emerging trends and opportunities in the overlanding and outdoor lifestyle space to keep campaigns fresh and relevant
- Support the marketing team with project management as needed
- Design, execute, and manage survey strategies—including post-event evaluations—to capture actionable data and event performance metrics that inform sales narratives and marketing campaigns
- Own and manage all website content and creative updates in WordPress—ensuring timely, accurate updates to exhibitor lists, sponsor assets, and event-related content while maintaining brand consistency and user experience
- Create and execute media engagement strategies to attract press coverage for events, while cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with media partners to maximize exposure and brand visibility
- Manage and distribute promotional tickets and elements to media partners
- Deploy media rooms to all applicable media outlets
- Create marketing talking points for all events
- Create traffic instructions for all media buys
- Manage creative and design for all graphic needs including support for emails, social, website, ads, and other assets for both print and digital
- Work experience in digital marketing and/or the outdoor or overland industry
- Working knowledge of branded content strategies, ad serving tools, SEO/SEM campaigns, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong time management, multitasking and organizational skills with a solid attention to detail.
- Team player who accepts responsibility for their projects, is process-oriented with analytical, problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
