What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Intake/Assessment Clinician position at Emerald Therapy Center?

Responsibilities will include:
- Complete clinical intake assessment for new clients
- Determine appropriate level of care recommendations and internal referrals to Emerald services as needed
- Maintain complete and accurate client records per regulations
- Provides clinical coverage when needed, including but not limited to treatment planning, group and individual counseling
- Participates in quality assurance related to the intake and assessment process
- Ensure services provided are necessary and evidence-based, and within the ethical and legal scope of practice
- Coordinate care with other service providers, as appropriate
- Participate in case consultation as indicated
- Demonstrates an independent work initiative, sound judgment, diplomacy, tact and professional demeanor.
- Excellent verbal, written and/or interpersonal communication skills.

- Emerald is 100% outpatient - no weekend, holiday or after hour calls

- User friendly EMR with client management, scheduling and billing all in one spot
To be eligible for this position, you must hold an active Kentucky state license/s in one of the following credentials:
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor – LMHC, LCMHC
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker – LCSW, LICSW, CSW
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - LMFT
- Licensed Professional Counselor – LPC, LPCC, LCPC
- Licensed Mental Health Professional - LMHP, or
- Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) in Kentucky
- Previous experience in clinical counseling or social work setting preferred
