What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Clinician position at Emerald Therapy Center?

With 6 locations across Western Kentucky, you will have the opportunity to make a profound impact on people's lives by providing high-quality clinical services to those in need.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assist with clinical intakes to ensure medical necessity is met
- Impact the treatment planning process from intake to discharge based on client diagnosis and needs present
- Provide individual, family and group therapy, as needed
- Maintain complete and accurate client records per regulations
- Ensure services provided are necessary and evidence-based, and within the ethical and legal scope of practice
- Coordinate care with other service providers, as appropriate
- Participate in case consultation as indicated
Additionally:
- Emerald is 100% outpatient - no weekend, holiday or after hour calls
- We assist with credentialing through major insurers
- Consistent referral stream and call center support to grow your caseload
- User friendly EMR with client management, scheduling and billing all in one spot
To be eligible for this position, you must hold an active Kentucky state license/s in one of the following credentials:
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor – LMHC, LCMHC
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker – LCSW, LICSW, CSW
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - LMFT
- Licensed Professional Counselor – LPC, LPCC, LCPC
- Licensed Mental Health Professional - LMHP, or
- Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) in Kentucky
- Previous experience in clinical counseling or social work setting preferred
