Emerald is hiring for a QC Inspector in San Jose, CA
Primary Responsibilities and Job Functions:
- Responsible for activities involving QC Inspection of products in accordance with documented instructions
- Ensures that manufactured products comply with the defined workmanship criteria (i.e., IPD-A-610), customer drawing and instructions
- Reading customer drawings, manufacturing process instructions and understand the quality requirements for the products
- Approving or rejecting the release of assemblies to the next process with respect to workmanship criteria and customer requirements
- Maintain inspection records of work done (data entry)
- Sending rejected products back to the responsible area for disposition
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the QC
Education and Experience:
- High school or equivalent.
- Requires previous assembly experience and working knowledge of inspection techniques and instruments.
