Responsibilities
- Provide professional massage therapy sessions tailored to each client’s individual needs, including deep tissue massage.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to address specific pain points or muscular issues.
- Utilize comprehensive knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective treatments.
- Ensure a welcoming, customer-focused environment by delivering outstanding patient service.
Experience
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification.
- Proven experience in providing various massage techniques such as deep tissue massage.
- Understanding of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy.
- Prior experience working in a spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred but not required. An eagerness to learn is required.
- Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop effective treatment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive, energetic approach to client care.
