What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President Investment Banking position at Emerald Resource Group?
Vice President, Investment Banking | Greater Dallas, TX
Most IB shops at this level hand you a title. This one hands you deals.
If you're a VP or senior associate who's done waiting for a seat at the table and ready to actually own transactions end to end, keep reading.
I'm working on a Vice President role with a niche-focused M&A advisory firm that's been in the market for 40 years, closed 300 transactions, and carries institutional backing from a global investment bank. They know their sector cold and have the pipeline to prove it. No "building the plane while flying it" energy here. Just a well-oiled firm with a dominant market position looking for someone to grow with them.
What You'll Own:
You're not supporting deals. You're leading them. Buy-side, sell-side, strategy through close. You'll manage client relationships, drive financial analysis, direct deal teams, and contribute to business development. Real autonomy, real accountability, real impact.
What You Bring:
- 5 years in investment banking, M&A advisory, transaction advisory, or corporate finance
- A track record of complex deals closed, not just supported
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
- Series 79 or 82 license preferred
- The ability to lead a room, manage a client, and bring junior talent along with you
If you're looking to pivot (or stay) in Investment Banking while avoiding the 100 hour work weeks, apply and reach out to me directly
