Staff Accountant

We’re partnering with a family-owned manufacturing company in Geauga County that’s been in business for over 50 years. They’re looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, values stability, and wants to grow with a company that takes pride in its people and long-term success.

What You’ll Be Handling:

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
• Manage expense reporting in SAP Concur and import data into QuickBooks Online
• File and maintain sales and use tax returns across multiple states
• Reconcile bank accounts and report daily cash activity
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and commission calculations
• Assist with payroll preparation and other financial analysis projects
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance accuracy

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2 years of general accounting experience (manufacturing a plus)
• Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and QuickBooks Online
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Attention to detail
