Staff Accountant
We’re partnering with a family-owned manufacturing company in Geauga County that’s been in business for over 50 years. They’re looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team. What You’ll Be Handling:
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
- Manage expense reporting in SAP Concur and import data into QuickBooks Online
- File and maintain sales and use tax returns across multiple states
- Reconcile bank accounts and report daily cash activity
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and commission calculations
- Assist with payroll preparation and other financial analysis projects
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance accuracy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 years of general accounting experience (manufacturing a plus)
- Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and QuickBooks Online
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Attention to detail
