A growing Northeast Ohio tech company — 50 people, millions of transactions per day — is looking for a Senior Application Solution Architect to lead the design and evolution of their core platform. This is a high-impact role sitting at the intersection of business needs and technology delivery.

What You’ll Own as the Senior Application Solution Architect | Northeast Ohio

• Application and solution architecture direction across the platform
• Defining and enforcing code quality standards, design patterns, and framework guidelines
• Translating product and business requirements into scalable, well-structured technical designs
• Leading architectural decisions for large-scale video processing and encoding solutions (200GB video)
• Driving adoption of Agentic AI and modern cloud-based development tooling (Codex, etc.)
• Partnering with engineering leads to ensure consistent, high-quality implementation across teams
• Establishing metrics and feedback loops to improve development efficiency and application health

Tech Environment for the Senior Application Solution Architect | Northeast Ohio

• Go (preferred) | C# (~50% of existing codebase)
• Enterprise-scale, self-supporting distributed systems
• Cloud-based development and deployment tooling
• High-throughput transaction processing platform

Ideal Background for the Senior Application Solution Architect | Northeast Ohio

• Senior Application Architect, Solution Architect, or Principal Engineer
• Deep experience designing multi-tier, service-oriented, or microservices architectures
• Strong track record translating complex domain problems into clean, scalable application designs
• Comfortable influencing technical direction across teams without direct line authority
• Enterprise software backbone with exposure to high-volume, data-intensive platforms
