Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Electrical Assembly Technician to join a manufacturing team in Walton Hills, Ohio. This full-time opportunity offers competitive pay between $20.00 and $22.00 per hour, based on experience.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electrical wiring, component assembly, reading electrical schematics, and using hand and power tools. Candidates with backgrounds in electrical assembly, control panel wiring, or industrial manufacturing are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, and install electrical components and equipment according to specifications.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
• Perform point-to-point wiring, cable routing, wire stripping, crimping, and terminal connections.
• Assemble electrical control panels, wiring harnesses, switches, and related components.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
• Perform basic electrical testing using multimeters and continuity testers.
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure proper wiring, functionality, and quality.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic electrical wiring and assembly issues.
• Follow established safety procedures, quality standards, and production requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring, or a related manufacturing position preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Experience with electrical wiring, connectors, terminals, and components.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, wire strippers, and crimping tools.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently or within a team.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Electrical control panel assembly.
• Point-to-point wiring.
• Wire harness assembly.
• Low-voltage electrical systems.
• Industrial equipment or machinery assembly.
• Soldering, crimping, and cable preparation.
• Electrical testing and quality inspection.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
