What are the responsibilities and job description for the Application Architect / Tired of inheriting someone else's bad decishions position at Emerald Resource Group?
Senior Application Solutions Architect
Tired of inheriting someone else's bad decisions?
Most architect roles are cleanup jobs. This one isn't.
My client a leading Northeast Ohio tech company — processing millions of transactions per day — is bringing on a Senior Application Solutions Architect to shape how their platform is built going forward.
You'll report directly to the CIO and have real authority over architecture direction, standards, and the tech roadmap.
Here's what makes this worth your attention:
- You're not a committee. You own the architectural vision end-to-end
- Greenfield problems — large-scale transactional based, Agentic AI, modern cloud tooling
- Small enough that your decisions matter immediately. Large enough that the scale is real
- Direct seat at the table with the CIO, no layers, no politics
- Hybrid flexibility in Northeast Ohio
You're likely a fit if you:
- Have designed distributed, high-throughput systems at scale
- Know Golang or C# (or both)
- Can influence engineering teams without needing a title to do it
- Think in systems, not just features
This is a direct hire role. No C2C or sponsorship.
If this sounds like the move you've been waiting for — let's talk.
