Retail Sales Associate

Position: Retail Sales Associate

Pay Range: 50,000.00-65,000.00 based on commissions

Position Overview: Daily retail sales associate tasks include: assisting customers with questions about high end products such as Spas, Patio Furniture, Barbeques and Wood Stoves as well as many other items, assisting them with their selection of product, sales transactions, staging of show room floor, cleaning, upkeep of customer contacts, continual studying of new products to provide knowledgeable information to customers.

Qualifications and Requirements

· Highschool diploma, GED, or equivalent

· Retail / customer service experience is a plus

Clean and neat in appearance. Must dress nice.

Primary Responsibilities

· Interacting with customers and identifying their needs

· Product labeling and placement

· Inventory control

· Point of sale transactions (cash, credit card, check, billing accounts)

· Ensuring stock room is maintained in a clean and orderly fashion

· Answer customer phone calls

· Additional responsibilities may be added at the discretion of management

Maintaining a customer based with leads and follow ups

Work Conditions

· Lifting of 50 lbs., on occasion

Schedule

· Monday – Saturday: 9am – 6pm (Schedule will vary depending on location)

· Sunday and an additional day of the week off

· Overtime, as needed

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
