What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resident Aide (Must Work Weekends) position at Emerald Park?
We are seeking reliable, caring, and experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) or Home Health Aides (HHA) to join our team. You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health conditions, and support residents with memory loss in a safe and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities:Provide hands-on personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding
Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
Monitor and document residents’ health status and report changes to nursing staff
Offer emotional support and companionship
Engage memory care residents in meaningful activities and redirection techniques
Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment
Comply with all safety protocols and facility policies
Current Florida CNA or HHA certification (required)
CPR & First Aid Certification (required)
Level II background screening (or willingness to obtain)
Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care training (preferred or must complete upon hire)
Minimum 1 year of experience in assisted living or memory care (preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
