Responsibilities of a Med Tech:
- Administer medications to residents as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor residents for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications.
- Maintain accurate and complete medication administration records.
- Assist with resident care activities as needed.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications of a Med Tech:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Certified Med Tech (CMT) certification required.
- Prior experience in a similar role within a nursing home or assisted living facility is preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, a caring approach, and physically fit.
